Let your gaze become soft and, if you wish, close your eyes. Notice that your breath flows in and out. As you notice your breath flowing, your body and mind begin to settle and relax. Take several moments to just breathe and be.

Gently bring your attention to your heart. You can feel the warmth in your heart. If it helps, you may like to place one or both hands on your heart. Imagine that you can breathe into your heart, allowing it to relax, to feel open and peaceful.

You are going to imagine, or say aloud, the name of your angel. That might simply be the word “angel,” the phrase “my guardian angel,” or a specific angelic name that you know, love, and trust. Relax as you allow that name to be softly repeated several times, either silently in your mind or spoken aloud.

Then visualise, feel, imagine, or simply intend that you can see the spiritual space inside your heart. You might even feel like you are moving into that spiritual space inside your heart. It is a quiet, peaceful, loving, and open space. You may experience it with a feeling of love or some other feeling. You may sense colours or symbols, or you may just notice your breath flowing in and out, as you settle yourself in connection with your heart.

You then see, sense, feel, or intend that there is a beautiful white feather floating in your heart. It is floating from above, slowly and gently meandering downwards. You can follow its progress as it moves through your heart space, slowly and surely, until it rests ever-so-lightly upon the inner ground of your being.

Allow your heart to take in the message of this feather. It is a message from your angel. Everything is going to be okay. I’m taking care of you. I believe in you. You have what it takes to live your life in the best way for your heart. Rest now. I am with you.

Rest and focus on the feather, the love in your heart, your angel, and your breath.
